ILIN DESIGNS® started as a concept organically in 2015, when founder I-Lin Chung entered his apartment design to a contest held by 'Apartment Therapy' that year, eventually becoming the 1st place of the national award for the renter's division. That was the turning point for his long-time Airbnb design and hosting hobby to becoming a professional service for his clients.
We aim to optimize the spaces limited by square footage in small NYC apartments, by emphasizing minimalistic form and maximizing functionality. We are a firm believer in the less-is-more philosophy, and our work truly reflects this belief as a brand.
